Thought of the week

I greatly appreciate these words of Henry David Thoreau: "simplify, simplify, simplify...". Simplifying our thoughts, words, and actions does not diminish our creativity or narrow our existence; it intensifies the unparalleled serenity of a mind at rest in its natural state. It means laying down the burden, carried for so long, of artificial and distorted constructs that constantly proliferate in our mind, troubling it, agitating it in all directions, fragmenting it, compressing it, and chaining it—in short, tormenting it.
