Cerro Chaltèn, also known as Fitz Roy (3,359m) is a mountain six hours’ walk from the village of El Chaltén, in Patagonia, on the border between Argentina and Chile. The Fitz Roy is found in the province of Santa Cruz and in the region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica. It was first climbed in 1952 by Lionel Terray and Guido Magnone, Patagonia
